ALOHA KRISTENE! BTW don’t you just love that word Aloha? It means Greetings, hello, good-bye, affection and love. One word that has all of those meanings.

This week I had so many things to say, but not much time to say them. To start, it was a short work week only having 4 work days doesn’t sit very well around here although the holiday on Monday was a very welcome break! Two of my daughters, my grand kids and I had a lot of fun going to the fundraising event at Fremont Park, Chalk it Up a non-profit organization dedicated to funding children’s art education in the Sacramento area. This year I sponsored a square and it was so much fun looking at all the squares to find what an artist might have done with one for me. Although, I never actually met the artist that I sponsored we have connected on Face Book. Thank you again Jen Christ Artist considering you have never worked with chalk and had no idea what sponsor you would be assigned until you got there I was more than impressed with this beautiful portrait you chalked, portraying my photography work.

This week has been a hectic up till midnight sort of week, but all in all I always love my job! Always! Here is one of my Favorite Photos from this week in addition to the above!

FEBRUARY 26th ~ SENIOR SHOOT OUT ~ Times will vary and location TBA, either, Wm. B Pond Park or a location near the American River. These are fantastic sessions for the senior who wants to have senior portraits, but are not interested in a full 1 or 2 hour senior specialty session. Check out some tips here for a successful senior session! Our mini sessions last 30 minutes (which is enough time to change clothes once) and are just $55.00 prepaid to hold your scheduled time.

The other bonus about these convenient sessions is that we have a gift of 25 free mini photo cards for you to pass out to your friends….

MARCH 4^th, 5^th and 6^th ~ DESTINATION SNOW DAY ~ TAHOE CITY ~ Great family sessions in the snow, this is our first annual and we cannot wait. We welcomed this storm this week because this means more snow for our fun family snow days! Prepay your $800.00 session and we are offering a wonderful new product just for you! Your session will be 1 to 2 hours long, depending on how long your little ones will last and you receive up to {50} 4×6 images in a custom designed image box. In addition we are offering some add on products to this special, an additional $400.00 you can get 20 of your images print ready up to an 8×10 size on a CD. If you would like all of your images print ready on a CD this would be an additional $800.00. Do not miss out on this first annual special!

MARCH 15th, 23rd and 25^th ~ FAMILY SPRING MINI SESSIONS ~ The locations for these sessions will vary depending on which date works best for your family. The sessions are $99.00 prepaid to hold your time and will be 30 minutes in length. Just enough time to wear out the children “AND” husband. We did these sessions during the fall as well and they were so popular we booked several weekdays appts for several weeks in a row….If you received a special gift certificate in the mail, you will definitely want to book your appointment quickly. APRIL 2^nd ~ LIVE BUNNY DAY ~ Mini sessions ~ back by popular demand! Many years ago we did these wonderful spring time sessions and my kids (now teenagers) have been asking me to please, please, please do live bunny day again. I think it is time! I love the photographs of my kids when they were little and the expressions on their faces while holding live little bunnies. Priceless! Prepay your $125.00 and book your 20 minute session, you will receive a (1-5×7, 4 wallet) package (from 1 pose). If you would like to take advantage of an additional discount, prepay an additional $150.00 and receive an 11×14 Storyboard (regularly priced at $200). Of course you will have the option to purchase more photographs from this session and we plan on Easter delivery for your portraits. This is going to be a definite SALE OUT, so book your session quickly.

How quickly this holiday season came and went, seems like it was just September and we were doing our “Christmas in September” holiday sessions. Then in a blink it was October and we were in Monterrey doing “Destination Beach Portraits” with some added wet weather I might add.  Almost before we got those sessions processed,  it was already November and we were heavy into card designing and some very fun portrait parties…..And then in a flash Santa and his reindeer were already here! WHEW……now it is time to bring on the NEW YEAR!
