Considering our Senior Portrait Shoot Out is tomorrow and Friday
I figured it would be a good idea to give you seniors a few tips on how to acquire some great photographs!
1) Organize two or three different outfit changes and layer your clothing if possible, that way you can easily have one outfit and layer to another. For gals it is a great idea to bring along a summer dress of some kind, long or short, a dress is a great addition to outdoor portraits. We recommend wearing clothing that {is you} and that you feel comfortable in. Don’t forget your accessories.
2) Get rest the night before your session…that means you should be in bed {right}….but really, you want to look fresh and not tired. Sleep and rest is the only way to achieve the freshest look possible.
3) Bring to your session, if you wish, something that reflects your personality, talent, hobby, sport or anything else that may show what your interests are. This is about you and who you are! Bringing along a letter man jacket or your skateboard etc is a perfect addition to your portrait session.
4) Include a friend. There is nothing like having your best buddy along while you achieve this venture in front of the camera. This is one of the most exciting times in your life and why not share it with your friend. A good friend is perfect for helping you laugh, relax and have a good time. Not to mention you could easily have a photo or two together, how special will that be.
5) Lastly, make sure you wear a little more makeup than you are used to. Although, everything is retouched in our studio we recommend a bit of additional make up just to be sure you are well covered. If you have tan lines take into consideration the clothing that you are wearing and be sure that it covers your lines. Having lip gloss on hand will reassure being able to touch up your lips at any time during the session.
